About Me
Why I Became a Psychotherapist
My own experiences with psychotherapy inspired me to train as a therapist, after a career in the arts. My experiences opened my eyes to the profound possibilities that exist when we truly understand ourselves, and I wanted to offer this same opportunity to others.
What draws me to this work is witnessing the moment when someone discovers something new about themselves, when patterns that once felt fixed begin to shift, and new ways of being become possible. I'm passionate about reading and learning, constantly deepening my understanding of how we can support people in their journey towards greater self-awareness.
My Approach to Psychotherapy
My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic thinking, which means we'll explore not just what's happening in your life now, but the deeper currents that run beneath the surface. I believe that lasting change comes from truly understanding yourself, your history, your relationships, your unconscious patterns, rather than simply addressing symptoms.
I work with people from diverse backgrounds and at different stages of life, who come to therapy with a wide range of concerns. Below is an overview of my professional training and memberships. I am a UKCP Trainee Psychotherapist and work in line with the UKCP code of ethics.

My work is grounded in recognised psychoanalytic training and ethical practice, offering a safe, confidential, and reflective therapeutic space. I am currently in psychoanalytic training at the Guild of Psychotherapists and work in line with UKCP ethical guidelines.
